Temporary Services will give a talk on
Radical Space for Art
Temporary Services is a collective who through their art pages, community sites, and blogs aim to provide a network for the collection and distribution of artistic work looking at the line between art and ethics, power and art, and the role of the public. The critical place of the public is central to their work. Their goal is to create projects that undermine conventional politics of art: “We champion public projects that are temporary, ephemeral, or that operate outside of conventional or officially sanctioned categories of public expression.”
BEHAVING DIFFERENTLY!
is a lecture series on models of resistant economies in art and cultural work.
“The State (…) is a condition, a certain relationship between human beings, a mode of human behavior; we destroy it by contracting other relationships, by behaving differently.” Gustav Landauer
