“Making Room for Classism” is based on a bachelor thesis by Mira Förster, which she wrote on the subject “Social Work” at the Alice Salomon University. The exhibition confronts the groups’ topics of classicism with interactive stations to break down barriers, to let many experiences of the visitors have their say.
Group Kikk – klassismus ist keine kunstepoche: Educational and political group of workers’ children from the countryside and the city, who have always had experiences of classism. Developing a network and encouraging action against classism, they address these issues with a perspective critical of power and domination, and intersectionality, i.e. the interlocking of forms of discrimination.
