Interflugs is glad to announce the workshop, titled-\u201c Unity3D \u201d. The\u00a0
Workshop will take place at the Berlin University of\u00a0
Arts-UDK(Hardenbergstra\u00dfe 33 ), dates: 24-25 of May, starting time\u00a0
from 11-17:00. Room 9.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Places for the participants are limited, we want to make sure that you 
are really interested to attend. Please send us confirmation letter to 
the E-mail: freieklasse@interflugs.de with a few sentence about your 
activity and write in the subject “Unity3D“

DESCRIPTION:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The workshop intends to provide technical knowledge and the dynamics of 
spontaneous creation, with techniques and tools that enable fluid and 
collaborative work amongst participants. focusing on visual art, 
generative images, real time animations and vjing techniques. It\u2019s 
always good to have some initial ideas, questions, and topics that you 
want to experiment with during our time together. The workshop is 
divided into practical modules with specific exercises, and concludes 
with the realization of an individual or joint performance.
For those who don\u2019t know it, Unity3d is one of the most popular 
cross-platform game engines that supports 2D and 3D graphics.The 
workshop will be for beginners and in English.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Laptop (Mac or PC) with the latest version of Unity installed and bring 
a 3-button mouse.
OS: Windows 7 SP1+, 8, 10; Mac OS X 10.9+.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

About the workshop holder:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Lucas Gutierrez (Argentina) is a digital artist and Industrial Designer 
based in Berlin. He has been engaged in various disciplines, from 
lectures, workshops and audiovisual performances to video art projects 
focused on the new paradigms of Digital Culture. Deeply involved in the 
remix culture and real time AV session projects in which he blends 
influences of different contexts \u2013 from post-work anthropology to the 
abstract quotes from 3D modeling for Industrial Design. His narrative is 
often quoting current social fears and dystopias, but mostly using the 
language of colorful, chaotic metaphysics.
His most recent talks and performances were in Sonar+D and MUTEK 
(Argentina\/ Mexico), ZKM \u2014 Zentrum f\u00fcr Kunst und Medien Karlsruhe, 
exhibitions at XS Gallery (Poland) Aperto Raum and Vorspiel \/ 
transmediale & CTM (Berlin, Germany).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
