Interflugs is glad to announce the workshop, titled: \u201c Unity3D\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Workshop will take place at the Berlin University of Arts-UDK(Hardenbergstra\u00dfe 33 ), dates: 24-25 of May, starting time from 11-17:00. Room 9.<\/p>\n

Places for the participants are limited, we want to make sure that you

DESCRIPTION:<\/p>\n

The workshop intends to provide technical knowledge and the dynamics of
\nspontaneous creation, with techniques and tools that enable fluid and
\ncollaborative work amongst participants. focusing on visual art,
\ngenerative images, real time animations and vjing techniques. It\u2019s
\nalways good to have some initial ideas, questions, and topics that you
\nwant to experiment with during our time together. The workshop is
\ndivided into practical modules with specific exercises, and concludes
\nwith the realization of an individual or joint performance.
\nFor those who don\u2019t know it, Unity3d is one of the most popular
\ncross-platform game engines that supports 2D and 3D graphics.The
\nworkshop will be for beginners and in English.<\/p>\n

About the workshop holder:<\/p>\n

Lucas Gutierrez (Argentina) is a digital artist and Industrial Designer
\nbased in Berlin. He has been engaged in various disciplines, from
\nlectures, workshops and audiovisual performances to video art projects
\nfocused on the new paradigms of Digital Culture. Deeply involved in the
\nremix culture and real time AV session projects in which he blends
\ninfluences of different contexts \u2013 from post-work anthropology to the
\nabstract quotes from 3D modeling for Industrial Design. His narrative is
\noften quoting current social fears and dystopias, but mostly using the
\nlanguage of colorful, chaotic metaphysics.
\nHis most recent talks and performances were in Sonar+D and MUTEK
\n(Argentina\/ Mexico), ZKM \u2014 Zentrum f\u00fcr Kunst und Medien Karlsruhe,
\nexhibitions at XS Gallery (Poland) Aperto Raum and Vorspiel \/
\ntransmediale & CTM (Berlin, Germany).<\/p>\n
