\u2018I Will Not Have a Moment of Silence Either\u2019 is a publishing project to support and promote a wider circulation of the writings of Gani-Meth, a sex worker and one of the most prominent trans activists of the LGBTI+ scene in Turkey. Her writing often deals with the politics of queerness and its repercussions in everyday life, deriving its power from lived experience. Topics that she is dealing with a range from body politics of trans individuals to homonormativity; from the critique of police violence against trans communities to sex and drugs trafficking. Her writings stem from her experiences and the underground world she navigates as a sex worker; from her conversations with and reflections in response to her trans friends as well as other activists to her imaginary conversations with parliament members.<\/p>\n
