Come on, come all!

Imagine! Other Europes
Open Workshop

November 4 – 5, 2011
Ballhaus Naunynstraße • Naunynstr. 27 •  10997 Berlin

Europe is literally the creation of the Third World.
Frantz Fanon, The Wretched of the Earth (1963)

For one year we have been researching alternative visions and practices of  Europe:
Visions and practices reaching beyond the discursive and political borderlands of the current European Union.
Visions and practices of postnational, postcapitalist, postsocialist, postcolonial, postmigrant Europes.
Europes invoked in the work of cultural and political activists.
Work done at the junctions of urban mobilities.
In this collaborative workshop, we invite discussions across projects, genres, and places: from Cluj (Romania) to Berlin (Germany), from ethnography to popculture, from Neue Slowenische Kunst to postmigrant theatre and postcolonial activism.
