[:en]Independent of the funding of the ongoing individual projects, this year’s project funding will differ due to the migratory crisis resulting from the wars.
We, as interflugs, have decided that this year we will only offer a single round of project funding. The resources, for what would have been the second round of project funding, will go directly to different collectives and organizations that are actively supporting the war affected communities in Germany. Especially those that are supporting groups that are marginalized by the unjust legal situation that treats some refugees differently than others.

Criteria and selection
We support projects and schemes which are keen on critical social justice, emancipatory strategies, standing out for its socio-political relevance and commitment. We are open for students as well as non- students, in order to connect and promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences, and challenge knowledge and discourses, through a variety of means and media, that expand the usual horizons of learning. We will especially support applicants without an academic background, who are seeking for ways to access the University of Arts, as well as those who are marginalized and experience oppression based on their gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, class, religion or through other forms of discrimination.
How to apply:
Each application should contain:
- short description of the project (1/2 – 1 page)
- list of project participants
- clear budget plan/breakdown including specific expenses
- format and time-frame of the project realisation
- notice of any other funding sources assigned
Each selected project can be funded up to a maximum of 400€.
Interflugs supports selected projects with printing services (zines, posters and other kinds of materials) through our new print lab.
All the members of Interflugs collectively will make the final round of selections and the selected applicants will be notified via email with further information and the next steps to receive the funding.
